Welcome to Cute Headbands.
Looking for cute headbands? Or how to make your own? Or maybe you have some headbands already but they look dull or boring.. try adding a little pizazz to them!
From solid colors to polka-dots to colorful stripes.. there’s so many options to choose from. They can also be made of a number of different materials such as fabric, plastic or metal. Headbands are fun and for everyone too! Celebrities like Nichole Richie and even Matthew McConaughey have been spotted sporting cute headbands. You don’t even need super long hair either! People with short hair can also look gorgeous with a stylish headband. Why be boring?
There are a number of places that you can buy cute headbands on the internet and locally in your own town. Most towns and cities have a Claire’s or Icing which have adorable headbands available in just about every color and style. These stores are also great places to get ideas if you’re going to make your own. The internet has a ton of great websites as well that sell headbands online and shipping is usually cheap too. I have added some Google links on most pages that can direct you to some very cool websites. Give one a try!
If you’re interested in making your own headbands, there are a number of websites online that can help you get started. The easiest headbands to make are fabric headbands although you can usually pick up some pretty cute metal headbands and beads from craft stores. All it takes is a little imagination and a glue gun and in minutes you’ll have a very cute headband for very cheap. Even better, it’ll be original too!
If you have some headbands that once were cute but now either look old, or perhaps outdated.. try adding some pizazz to it! Try this:
- Take some ribbon and cut to desired length, making sure it will go around the headband once and will be long enough to tie in bow (under the backside of your head and rest in average length down back).
- Once cut to the appropriate length, take a pre-heated hot glue gun and glue some ribbon to the headband, making sure the sides are the same length.
- After your ribbon has been glued, take any jewels, beads, flowers, etc, and glue randomly to the ribbon.
- Once all glue has cooled and is dry, place headband around your head and tie dangeling ribbon in a bow on the underside of your head.
Tip: Knots work great leaving ribbon dangling long for hair down, while bows look cute while hair is up in pony.
